AUTOSAR BASIC SW DEVELOPER

The Chassis & Safety division develops and produces integrated active and passive driving safety technologies as well as products that support vehicle dynamics. The product portfolio ranges from electronic and hydraulic brake and chassis control systems to sensors, advanced driver assistance systems, airbag electronics and sensorics as well as electronic air suspension systems all the way to windscreen washer systems and headlight cleaning nozzles. The focus lies on a high level of system competence and the networking of individual components. Thus products and system functions are developed along the SensePlanAct chain of effects. They form the foundation for automated driving. Chassis & Safety employs more than 43,000 people worldwide and generated sales of approximately €9.0 billion in 2016.

For their location in Frankfurt, the company is looking for an AUTOSAR Basic SW Developer.

The holder of the job will be responsible for the following accountabilities:

  • Analysis of AUTOSAR software requirements and impact analysis on the electronic brake systems
  • Architecture Development of basic SW concepts for e.g. Multi core applications
  • Definition of integration steps of the EBS software in the context of the basic SW integration
  • Coordination of future and current AUTOSAR topics: internally with other departments, business units, and externally with suppliers and customers
  • Supporting the AUTOSAR Steering Board Activities
  • Coordination of technical content of the basic software with external contact persons
  • Integrate and configure security related software components in the AUTOSAR BSW
  • Design and implementation of the required software algorithms
  • Perform or coordinate unit- and integration tests
  • Analyze, debug and track software failures / issues

Required training and experience:

  • Degree in Engineering (Electrical Eng., Informatics, Computer Science, SW Eng.)
  • At least 3 years of professional experience developing a similar role.
  • Experience in embedded software integration and application
  • Detailed understanding of AUTOSAR architecture and methodology
  • Experience with AUTOSAR architecture, -tools and configuration methods
  • Experience with embedded SW development (programming lang.: C, assembler) and related tools
  • Integration experience of AUTOSAR stacks or AUTOSAR application components
  • Experience with debugging
  • Open to relocate to Frankfurt.
